Timothy Kuusik (violoncello), has studied, taught and performed in South East Queensland for 12 years.
For a short period he played electric cello with a rock band where he adapted parts for the cello. This proved to be a useful stepping stone for Timothy as he now arranges a lot of the contemporary songs for the string quartet.
In 2002, Timothy completed his symphonic work for full symphony orchestra with its debut played in June. It won first place in the GC Composer's Competition along with his composition for voice and string orchestra.
Timothy has had an exciting experience playing with the string quartet.
